Introducing: New Rocket.net Control Panel, The Easiest Way to Manage Hosting for WordPress

Since its inception, Rocket.net has crafted a distinctive customer experience through its API-first approach and industry-leading control panel.
Over the last five years, we’ve learned a great deal from our customers and recognized that we needed to take our control panel a step further to enable continuous feature development at scale.
Today, I’m happy to announce that the all-new control panel design and framework are now live! Over the last twelve months, we completely rebuilt and redesigned our customer experience from the ground up, all while maintaining a familiar experience to avoid disrupting our existing customer workflows.
So far, the feedback has been incredible:
We’re receiving an overwhelmingly positive response to the launch of our new UI, and we couldn’t be more excited.
What’s New?
Along with many improvements on both desktop and mobile to make it easier and faster to manage your WordPress sites, this new update also brings some new features we’ll be diving into throughout the next few weeks:
Cloud Backups: All manually created backups are now stored in S3-compatible storage, resolving key issues around disk space consumption and download issues for large sites. These new backups are also 10-20x faster than the previous manual backup feature!
Dark Mode: The control panel now offers a dark mode option, which will be automatically enabled based on your system settings, providing a seamless experience.
Global Search: We’ve introduced a robust way to search through all of your sites easily. Simply search at the top or type / in the portal and immediately activate the search.
Improved WAF Reporting: You can now access your WAF blocks under the Logs -> WAF Log section for better search and information regarding WAF blocks from Cloudflare Enterprise.
Task Management: We’ve introduced an all-new task management system that is displayed in the top right of the control panel to show you all of your global tasks running in one spot.
Go Live Improvements: When going live with your domain, we will now generate an _acme-challenge CNAME you can create in your DNS before proceeding, resulting in sub-60-second SSL issuance!
What’s Coming Next?
This is just the beginning of what’s to come, thanks to the new UI. On top of the improved navigation and features listed above, we have some exciting updates already in the works:
Multi-account Management: This has been one of our most requested features, and it’s currently in development. Very soon, customers will be able to easily toggle between different Rocket.net accounts, as they will have access to all under the same email address.
Site Cloning: This feature has been available in our API for some time, and we will be launching it within the new UI.
Edge Settings: Soon, you will be able to manage more granular settings on a per-site basis, including allowing XML-RPC, denying AI bots, enabling managed challenges, and more.
Self-service Redis + OCP: In the new UI, we’re working on the ability to not only self-install Redis and Object Cache Pro, but also integrate analytics directly from Object Cache Pro inside your Rocket.net control panel.
These are just a few of many things to come as we continue to drive innovation in the Managed WordPress space with our industry-leading platform, which is already live on hosting.com as well!
As promised, there will be no slowdown here at Rocket.net and hosting.com. We are bigger and stronger than ever and will continue to push the envelope to provide maximum success for you and your clients ultimately.
